A little list of good stuff…for a very merry Wednesday 🙂
A good book to read: The Year of The Flood by Margaret Atwood – I love post-apocalyptic dystopian future books!
A good recipe to make: Chorizo and chickpea stew http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3147690/chorizo-and-chickpea-stew
A good website to visit: www.sewforkids.wordpress.com – making sewn and knitted items for the people in Pine Ridge Reservation
A good cause to donate to: Wounded Knee District School (see http://friendsofpineridgereservation.org/organizations/Wounded_Knee_District_School.shtml for more details)…they need everything school related even clothes and washing detergent so that their kids can turn up to school in clean clothes
A good Ravelry group to join: Bundles of Joy (Making baby blankets, outfits, bootees, toys etc. for the OB (maternity) ward in Pine Ridge Hospital Reservation where many new mothers can’t even afford any clothing / blankets to bring their new-born home in)
A good place to visit: Fountains Abbey, North Yorkshire
A good craft to try: Needle-felting…you can stab as much and as hard as you want!!
A good (?) joke to tell: Which pirate was well known for his crocheted creations? Captain Hook! *cringes*
A good skill to have: How to say ‘let’s go in Italian – Andiamo!!
A good motto for life: The longer you leave it…the grosser it gets!
Here is a blank version if you want to do it yourself!
