Crochet snood

This is a picture of a snood I made last year. It’s really thick and warm and just what you need on chilly days.

I crocheted it with my favourite type of yarn, which is James C. Brett’s Marble Chunky (shade MC16). It’s 100% acrylic and is really easy to work with. I think I used a size 5mm crochet hook (it was a while ago but I think I’m right) and it only took me a couple of evenings to do.

I used a puff and v-stitch combination and I have to say I am rather pleased with the result! 🙂 I can wear it long or twist it twice for a snuggly warm fit.
